The 2017 IANA International Expo was held in Port of Long Beach, U.S.A from September 17 to 20. IANA International Expo is the most professional and influential exhibition in the fields of American railway and port logistics, which is also a barometer of the development of global railway and port logistics.
SANY Marine Heavy Industry took part in the Expo as the only Chinese supplier of railway and port logistics equipment. SANY Marine Heavy Industry has dominated 50 percent of domestic market shares for a decade and its products are well received in the international markets of India, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and South Africa as well. Recently, SANY Marine Heavy Industry has achieved a number of international orders, greatly enhancing the competitiveness and international reputation of SANY port machinery. After the successful delivery of 15 units of RTGs to Bombay, India on September 20, SANY Marine Heavy Industry signed a contract of selling 2 units of RTGs with the largest railway company in the United States during the IANA International Expo, which marks SANY Marine Heavy Industry expanding its business to the North America’s large port machinery market for the first time.
“In recent three years, the customer has purchased 8 units of SANY mobile port machines. It highly recognized the quality our products and the service capacity and recommended our products to other American first-class railroad companies,” Mr. Robert Schafer, VP of SANY America and marketing director of port machinery business said that “Made in China” has gained more and more attention and recognition in North America, which brings historic opportunities for the rapid development of SANY Marine Heavy Industry’s port machinery business.
